2 men wanted after Detroit limo driver robbed, shot to death

Detroit police continue the search for two men wanted for the robbery and murder of a limo driver.

The shooting happened in the 2900 block of W Warren around 3:10 a.m. Saturday. Police say two suspects approached 44-year-old Devin Lowe while he was in his limo and robbed him at gunpoint, then shot him several times. The suspects fled from the scene in an unknown direction.

"He was a brother to everyone, in the sense of everyone considered him a part of their family, even his friends," Lowe's sister, Lorissa, says of him.

We're told Lowe juggle multiple careers as a personal trainer, massage therapist and, most recently, as a limo driver. Lowe did it all, we're told, to build a better life for himself and his 19-year-old daughter. But that all changed that Saturday morning when he was killed on the job.

He picked up a client in Toledo, drove them to an event at The Fox and then made his way to the B.P. gas station on W Warren.

"For whatever reason he was at the gas station. And this occurred," his sister says.

Police say the suspects are black males, one in his late 20s and the other in his 40s. The older suspect has his hair in corn rows, and was wearing a black Bears Started jacket and blue jeans. The younger suspect has short hair and was wearing all black.

Do not approached these suspects, they are to be considered armed and dangerous.
