Detroit (WJBK) - A Detroit judge was robbed Sunday morning in Detroit as she was waiting to go to church.
According to Detroit Police, just before 8 a.m, the 69-year-old judge was waiting in the passenger side of a vehicle in the 1500 block of Cherboneau Place, when the suspect entered the vehicle on the driver's side.
The suspect demanded the judge's purse and said, "Give me that purse or I'll shoot you."
Police said the suspect had his hand in his jacket pocket, as if he were armed. Though no firearm was seen, it is still considered an armed robbery.

The suspect took off on foot going eastbound on Cherboneau Place, police said.
The suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 35 to 40-years-old, with a short hair cut. He is approximately 6-foot tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a white jacket, gray pants, and dark shoes.
