- A Sterling Heights man was arrested for threatening the lives of two Macomb County Circuit Court judges.

Mohammad Subhi Alsheleh, 30, made threats to "sever the heads" of the judges in a threatening email to the Royal Oak attorney's office, police say. The threats were made using a mobile device from a phony email address. Visiting circuit court judges James Biernat, Sr. and Judge Kathryn George were allegedly named in the email.

Deputies and detectives were later able to develop a suspect based on prior occurrences and that the suspect had child-custody proceedings in the 16th Circuit Court of Macomb in front of both of the judges.

Alsheleh was taken into custody on Wednesday, on an outstanding warrant from Chesterfield Township.  He has been formally charged with a false report or threat of terrorism and using a computer to commit a crime.
