DETROIT (WJBK) - Detroit police are asking for the public's help locating a 15-year-old who hasn't been seen or heard from since Monday, October 24.
Ariel Wilkins was last seen at her house that afternoon when she told her mother's friend that she was going to her grandmother's house. She never showed up at her grandmother's house.
Ariel's house is located in the 19600 block of McCormick and her grandmother's house is in the 9600 block of Everett.
Ariel's mother says she's left home in the past but comes home the same day.
Ariel is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 220 lbs. She has a dark complexion, brown eyes and black hair that is currently designed in two French braids with a black headband around her head.
Ariel was last seen wearing a gray East English Village school uniform shirt, underneath a pink, fuzzy North Face jacket and tan pants.
