DETROIT (WJBK) - Detroit police have released surveillance video of a person of interest wanted in connection with the crash and death of a Detroit police officer.
The video shows a woman with the suspect involved at a convenience store on Fenkell near Hubble.
On Friday night, officer Myron Jarrett -- an 8-year veteran of the force -- was hit and killed while outside his car near Monica and Puritan on the city's west side.
The video is believed to be from after the time of the crash on Friday night.
Police believe the woman was a passenger in the car that hit the officer.
The investigation into the crash is now in the hands of the prosecutor.
After the crash, the driver, 54-year-old Steven Guzina, got out and ran but was captured several hours later.
Guzina may be arraigned Monday.
