WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) - A vandal scrawls KKK and "Vote Trump" inside the men's restroom at a Chrysler plant in Warren.
The employee who snapped these photos says this is the second time this has happened in recent months.
The graffiti promoting the KKK, disrespecting Hillary Clinton, using profanity, and praising Donald Trump can be seen in photos that a viewer sent to us taken inside a men's restroom at the plant on the corner of Eight Mile and Sherwood in Warren.
The employee at the plant does not care to share his identity, but say this graffiti has caused a lot tension.
"The last couple of months about the comments of Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton has gotten really bad," he said. "Coworkers are arguing about it, it's not the same atmosphere as it used to be."
That employee who does not want to be identified said someone has written or spray painted racist graffiti here at the plant twice in two months. A spokesperson for Chrysler said the matter is being investigated by management.
In a statement: "The company sent us a statement which says part there is a zero tolerance policy regarding harassment and discrimination of any kind. Any employee found in violation of this policy is subject to discipline up to and including termination. We are currently investigating this incident and have notified local law enforcement."
"This is the second time they've had a town hall to express that these events have caused saying there will be disciplinary action," the worker said.
The whistleblower also said the work environment has gotten to the point where many coworkers are afraid to speak with each other, and he blames the racial tension on the presidential election.
"Donald Trump talks about bringing back the good old days, stuff like that, grabbing women, stuff like that, it's going back and forth, and we've never had that talk among each other," said the worker. "I just be glad when this election is over because this is bad."
