MSU says goodbye to beloved halftime entertainer Zeke the Wonder Dog

- A sad day for Michigan State sports fans -- a fixture at halftime shows has died.

Zeke the Wonder Dog, a beloved yellow lab, entertained fans by catching Frisbees for 12 years.

He suffered from a tumor.

This Zeke was actually Zeke the third -- following the original Zeke the Wonder Dog who debuted in the 70's.

Ranger, who performed at last night's women's basketball game, will become Zeke the fourth.

A lot of fans are upset about the loss of Zeke.

Many are going on social media, posting pictures they've had taken with the famous dog, including FOX 2 digital journalist Kellie Rowe -- a Spartan alum.

Zeke's owner said Zeke will be dearly missed and he loved all Spartans.
