Here is the latest update from Fox 2 Meteorologist Jessica Starr.
The snow that we received Friday night into Saturday morning has come to an end. Most of us got about 2-5'' of fresh snow with higher amounts to the north and less amounts to the south.
Regardless, we got enough to get the shovels and snow blowers out. Not the way a lot of us want to start our weekend.
During the day on Saturday, a warm front will lift into southeast Michigan allowing for our temperatures to rise to the mid 30's.
The rising temperatures will melt some snows so plan for a sloppy and slushy day.
However, don't get use to the balmy temperature's as the back side of the system will work though Saturday night meaning cold arctic air will move back in for Sunday and we could see an additional inch of snow from the passing of this cold front by Sunday morning.
The arctic temperatures will be sticking around with sub-zero wind chills starting on Monday morning to start the work week.
