Co-owner Jason Barber says he's relieved to know that these guys have been caught.

"If we didn't have the cameras, we don't know. They could've just kept on doing what they're doing and getting away with it," he said.

Barber says the two men apparently told police they had been in the area for a job fair.

He says they stopped into the academy on Kelly Court on Friday morning while they had been on the ice training.

"Once they found out that the lone employee was not inside the office or the main area, they were able to go into the office and take a cash box," said Clinton Township Police Lt. Eric Reincke.

They both face up to four years in prison. Prince was given a $10,000 bond.

Smith's bond was set at $50,000 cash.

As he walked off, you could hear Smith complaining about his bond and calling the judge a few names.

"They seem that they've been in and out of jail quite a bit so hopefully they'll stay there for a little bit," Barber said.

Clinton Township police say Prince and Smith were both caught thanks to FOX 2 viewers.

Police say they received 15 tips total and all of them were helpful.

Smith was found under the influence of narcotics in Sterling Heights and Prince was arrested at a motel in Roseville.

Urging all business owners to get surveillance cameras with high quality video, Barber and police are also giving a big thank you to all of you.

"We're very happy that we had the cameras and that people called in and got them behind bars," Barber said.
