DETROIT (WJBK) - Three people were injured at a 4th of July block party when a suspect opened fire. Police are still looking for the suspect.
It happened just after midnight on the city's east side in the 12000 block of Wilshire.
Police say the victims include a 17-year-old girl, and two men ages 18 and 27. All there are hospitalized with gunshot wounds but are expected to survive.
A fourth person fractured his ankle while running away from the scene and is also hospitalized.
Police are searching for a single suspect right now. They say he walked down the street before opening fire on the party. He's describde as a black man 5 feet 7 inches tall who was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts, but police haven't given any more details than that.
Police haven't given a reason yet for the shooting.
