A booming downtown Detroit continues with yet another new destination if you're thirsty, hungry or both.
The dining renaissance continues in downtown Detroit, appropriately in this case at the GM Renaissance Center, home of the newest Granite City, opening Wednesday Feb. 10 with a special brew.
Craft beer, outdoor seating, even a way to order and pay via smartphone app and 16,000 square feet. In other words beer has come a long way from sudsing out of a tap at the corner watering hole.
And by long way I also mean Iowa. Listen to COO Jeff Dean in Jason Carr's latest report.
Granite city Downtown is the company's third in Michigan with the others in Troy and Northville.
