An 86-year-old woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a four-vehicle crash near 14 Mile and Ryan in Warren.

The victim killed was the passenger in a Lincoln Town Car. Witnesses and police say the driver in the same vehicle, the woman's husband, accidentally hit the gas while leaving a McDonald's parking lot, speeding into traffic, and hitting three other cars.

"The old man, he had gotten his food out of the drive thru there," said witness Zeke Vanochten. "It looks like his foot slipped off the brake, and his foot was on the gas. He drove through like two or three lanes before he got hit."

"Two or three cars hit him before everything finally stopped."

Police say three other people were also hurt, but fortunately their injures are not life threatening.

Investigators are not releasing the names of the drivers involved or the victim at this time while they continue to investigate.
