(WJBK) - UPDATE: The large pothole at Spingwells is expected to be repaired by Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The right two lanes of northbound Interstate-75 closed during the Monday morning commute due to a abnormally large pothole. The pothole is near the Rouge Bridge at Springwells.
At one point, around 25 drivers were pulled over on the shoulder with flat tires after driving over the pothole. The Michigan Department of Transportation tweeted out this photo of the pothole, saying repairs are coming soon.
