Traditions will be honored in Ann Arbor Saturday and for some that means a game day meal at one popular hangout.

It's the battle of the griddleiron - the battle you fight with your growling stomach while waiting for one of these bad boys.

Wolverines are pouring back into their college town 24 hours before kickoff and for some diehards, that means a visit to Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger.

It was a chance for Jason Carr to sample one of the best burgers in the state - his had salami and cheddar - while stirring up some school spirit.

He spoke to football fans inside and got bold predictions for Saturday's Michigan-Michigan State game.

At the legendary burger joint, some say Blimpy's has a nighttime line cook that can bang out a little "Hail to the Victors" percussion with her spatulas so there's still time for a little quintuple cheeseburger pep rally. ‘Merica, yeah.

And if the line is too long at Blimpy's there's always the Fleetwood Diner literally right next door.

Talk about tailgating. Jason Carr had the burger that's half-beef and half-ground bacon.

Yes, he survived the trip to Ann Arbor - and says MSU wins by a field goal.
