Alabama boy with mission to feed the homeless visits Detroit

- He's just four years old, but Austin Perine has already grabbed headlines across the country. He's a pint-sized superhero on a mission to show love and feed the homeless. He brought his campaign to Detroit this week.

Austin's interest in feeding the homeless began after watching Animal Planet, after a mother panda left her cubs and learning from his father that they would be homeless. Austin then learned some people become homeless, too, and he got inspired to help.

This launched a series of projects called "Show Love" in which Austin feeds the homeless on the streets and reminds them to show love to someone else. Austin has gained recognition for humanitarian acts in the U.S. and Africa.

Austin and his father made a stop in Detroit this week, and will be stopping in several other cities around the country to spread the love.
