Arrest made in KaJavia Globe's murder

Wayne County prosecutors say they have made an arrest in the murder of KaJavia Globe.

In a statement from the prosecutors office, Detroit Police arrested 24 year old Maxwell Brack yesterday in connection to Globe's death. He is scheduled to be arraigned today at 34th District Court in Romulus on a charge of open murder. The prosecutor's office says this charge carries a maximum penalty of life in prison without parole.

Globe went missing December 14, 2015. She was last seen near Seven Mile and Telegraph. Her body was found days later. At the time, investigators only had a photo of someone wearing a skeleton mask, using Globe's debit card to withdraw $500 from an ATM.
