Original story below.

A police undercover operation turns into a barricaded gunman situation on Detroit's west side.

Residents in the area of Fullerton and 14th Street are being evacuated because police are trying to get a barricaded gunman out of the house, cream colored and has a ramp in the front.

Sources say that the DEA and Michigan State Police were working together on a narcotics buy on the city's west side which went bad. The suspect jumped into a car and almost hit a DEA officer.

The DEA agent fires a round at that suspect, not sure if the suspect was hit at this point. A car chase begins and then that leads to a foot chase, which led police to this house in Detroit at this point. Officers tried to get everybody out of the house.

The suspect remains inside and is barricaded. He is armed and considered very dangerous.
