It's called the "one stop" shop but a thief didn't find everything he wanted in just one trip. He came back again -- and again.

The owner of the Ferndale store One Stop Liquor said the guy who broke into this store pretended he was waiting for the bus outside, and, as soon as the coast was clear, threw a rock through this window then kicked out the rest of the glass to get inside.

"He emptied it all," said owner Nash Thomas. "He had a carrying bag with him. he put everything in the bag."

Thomas says he got away with Newport cigarettes, $700 in cash, Grey Goose and Belvedere vodkas.

He broke into the liquor store around 11:45 Monday night.

"He was in and out," Thomas said. "When we saw the film, he was in here for like three minutes, so he was pretty quick."

Police arrived right after the man made his getaway, heading south on Woodward. A canine unit from Hazel Park police helped Ferndale officers search the area but they both came up short.

Police believe the same man broke into this liquor store two other times this month.

"He copied the other two times, the same thing - the same way," Thomas said. "Glass, make a hole, go inside, comes for the vodka goes to the register and go to the Newport cigarettes."

"It's unusual three times in two weeks, not even two weeks," Thomas said. "I mean he's got balls to do that."

And between those three brazen break-ins, Thomas says he's out about $5,000.

"He did more damage to the building than stealing," he said.

If your recognize the guy in those videos please call Ferndale police.
