Cher spoke to a couple hundred people at the United Auto Workers hall in Flint on Monday.
She was funny, down to earth and not at all shy about her dislike for Donald Trump. She received an enthusiastic welcome as she took the stage voicing her support for Hillary Clinton honest almost to a fault.
"I'm not saying she's perfect, I'm not saying I can back every play but I know she's tough," Cher said. "I still believe she has higher angels. Trump doesn't even have a feather, forget wings."
Last year, Cher was one of the first Hollywood heavyweights to support Flint during the water crisis
"This city can't be forgotten about," she said.
Her words resonated with voters.
"I've been a fan of Cher’s but I'm really a fan of Hillary," said voter Judy Wright. "Loved her for years))
"I believe in my heart, my deepest heart that a President Clinton would give us a future," she said. "I hope you get out and vote. Thank you."
And Cher had a busy day campaigning for Clinton also in East Lansing, Kalamazoo and Bloomfield Hills, the last of which for a private event.
