Clinton Township Police investigate stranger danger incident

Parents in a Clinton Township Apartment are on alert after police put out a stranger danger warning last week. They've got a description of the men police are looking for on every door in the complex.

Clinton Township Police say on Wednesday, two men pulled over in a newer black minivan stopping two kids walking into the Metro Woods Apartment Complex off Harper south of Metro Parkway.

The kids each took a dollar there was no attempted abduction or threat to hurt the children but police say it doesn't seem right.

The driver is a black male possibly in his 20s with braided hair, his passenger a white male in his 30s with a goatee; he was wearing a brown or green knit hat.

Police and the L'anse Cruese School District say this is a good reminder to talk to your kids about strangers and let them know it's okay to report any incident to police that makes them feel uncomfortable.

If you see this suspicious, newer black minivan, call 911.
