DETROIT (WJBK) - Someone steals more than the show from a local non-profit community theater company.
A burglar stole cash and computers from the Matrix Theatre Company in southwest Detroit. The incident happened somewhere between last Aug. 8 and Aug. 9 night when the thief walked off with two laptops and a Mac mini pro in addition to cash from the box office, through a back door.
Investigators say they've contacted pawn shops in the area in case some of the evidence turns up there.
The Matrix is an award winning community based theater. The non-profit theater company in based in southwest Detroit on Bagley and provides theater for high school students, play writing group and provides youth summer camps.
