Covenant House Michigan to hold sleep out for homelessness event

It's hard to imagine, But every night there are thousands of homeless people on the streets of metro Detroit. 

That's why Covenant House Michigan is working to raise awareness with their Sleep Out for Homelessness event this Friday.

Dozens of young professionals will leave the comfort of their homes and spend the night outside.

Joining FOX 2 are a couple of sleepers who have done this before and are planning to do it again, Allison Gorman and Amy Wise.
