Crime Stoppers offers reward to help solve Inkster cold case

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of  $2,500 for information leading to the person who shot and killed a 21 year old woman in the 28000 block of Parkwood in Inkster on November 10, 2013.

"Her heart was bigger than she was and she was my only child," said Merryl Guarascio, mother of victim.

Jenna Guarascio was shot and killed while she was sitting in her parked car.

"I guess she was trying to get out and she was hit in the back," said Guarascio, "The piece of garbage needs to be put down."

State police have been assigned to the case, but tips have run out over time.

"On Mondays they (police) get together. They talk. If there's any new news, they would give me a call," said Guarascio.

Guarascio plans to return to the neighborhood, where her daughter's murder took place, and pass out fliers within the next few days.
