Police searching for fatal hit-and-run suspect in Macomb Township

Police are looking for the driver who hit and killed a 29-year-old man riding his bike on his way home from work early Saturday morning.

The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident that took place around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hall and Romeo Plank Roads in Macomb.

The victim, identified as Macomb Township resident Kevin Clay Fletcher, was traveling home from P.F. Chang's restaurant at Partridge Creek, where he worked.

When Fletcher was crossing the intersection of Romeo Plank and Hall, he was struck by a vehicle traveling north on Romeo Plank.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene and continued traveling north on Romeo Plank.

Investigators are looking for two possible vehicles of interest -- a light-colored sedan-type car and a tan Jeep, which would likely have some damage on the head light.

It's not known at this time if the victim was struck by more than one car.

No one at the victim's job wanted to comment. FOX 2 spoke to some businesses off camera and, and the employees say they heard loud screeching, but did not see the actual crash.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash and no further information is available.

Anyone who may have information regarding the crash is asked to call the Macomb County Sheriff's Office at (586) 307-9412.
