Detroit auto show preview raises $4 million for charities

About 10,000 people attended the North American International Auto Show's black tie charity preview Friday.

Aside from the glitz and glamour, the event raised close to $5 million for southeastern Michigan children's charities. 

It is the frozen farewell for the auto show, which is taking place for the last time in January before moving to June for 2020. Watch the video above for more on the evening, while FOX 2 partnered with the Michigan Humane Society and Subaru which has a pet adoption area. CLICK HERE for more.
