A Detroit business owner fell into debt and had to have some possessions reposed.

Now he's behind bars accused of shooting the men who came to collect. One of the victims, a Clarkston man, died from his injuries.

Prosecutors say Mark Sasinski was shot and killed by David Unger at the end of September on Freud street in Detroit.  Investigators say Unger's business was drowning in debt, so the courts had control.

Mark and another man went there to appraise and secure the property but police say before the two men could do that, Unger shot them. Sasinski was hit multiple times, the other man was struck, but survived.

Unger was arraigned on first degree murder on Wednesday in court for Killing Sasinski and shooting another man.

FOX 2 spoke with the victim's daughter, while his wife called him her best friend.

"As a family we are going to honor his legacy always," Sasinski's daughter said.

FOX 2: "How are you guys holding up?"

"We are taking it one day at a time, one minute, one hour, one day at a time," she said.

She also spoke about getting justice.

"It won't bring him back, but we are just so happy that we are going to get some justice and he can't hurt anyone else," she said. "The whole community loved him. He was the nicest most caring, kindest dad ever."

Unger will be back in court for a probable cause conference on Oct. 24.
