Detroit Police look for missing 14-year-old Alexxis Tinch

Detroit Police is asking for the public's help locating a 14-year-old girl who hasn't been seen since Sunday, May 20, 2018.

Police say Alexxis Tinch was last seen by her grandmother around 9 p.m., and was discovered missing around 11:30 p.m. She was last seen at a home in the 17100 block of Stout Street, which is near W McNichols and Evergreen roads, and her grandmother says a neighbor saw Alexxis leave the house and get into a burgundy car.

Her family says this isn't the first time Alexxis has left home without permission.

Alexxis is 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build, short black hair that is shaved on the sides with reddish-brown hair on top.

Police aren't sure what she was wearing, nor what the make or model is of the car she may have gotten into.

If you think you've seen Alexxis or know of her whereabouts, you're asked to contact Detroit Police at 313-596-5700.
