Detroit Police looking for 16-year-old Meia Jackson
DETROIT (WJBK) - Detroit Police is asking for the public's help locating a 16-year-old girl who hasn't been seen since Friday, October 12.
Police say Meia Jackson was last seen that day around 6:45 p.m. in the 8000 block of Stahelin. Her grandmother says when she got home from work that night Meia wasn't there, and that she assumed the teen was at a neighbor's house or with a relative.
A neighbor told police Meia was seen walking in the rain around 8 p.m. going towards Joy Road.
Meia's family says she's never been missing before and they're worried about her safety.
Meia is 5 feet 2 inches tall and has black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white tank top T-shirt, black jogging pants and Nike flip flops.
