Detroit police searching for missing teen girls

Detroit police are searching for missing teenage girls that have not been since Friday, December 9, 2016 at approximately 5:30 p.m., in the area of Schaeffer and Joy Road.

According to police, Nicole Allen got into a verbal argument with her mother as they were driving home from her school. During the argument, Nicole got out the vehicle and began walking east bound on Joy Road. 

Shortly afterwards according to the report, Nicole met up with her friend, Laila Taylor, then ran off together in an unknown direction. Both girls have not returned home.

Allen is described as a black female, 13-years of age, 5'1", 130 lbs., medium brown complexion, braided hair, and wears glasses with tape on the side. She was last seen wearing a purple hoody and basketball shorts.

Taylor is described as a black female, 15-years of age, 5'1", 120 lbs., dark-brown complexion, brown eyes, with a medium length straight black hair. Laila was last seen wearing a royal blue Michael Kors coat, burgundy striped shirt, burgundy pants and black rain boats. 

Both girls are in good physical and mental condition.
