Detroit police seize guns, $27K in drugs from east side house

The Detroit police's Gang Intelligence Unit seized $27,000 of narcotics with guns in a Friday afternoon bust on the city's east side.

Officers confiscated 15.3 grams of heroin, 3.2 grams of marijuana along with three rifles, one machine gun and one handgun out of a house in the 14700 block of Kilbourne near Outer Drive and I-94. 

Police arrested a 31-year-old man with gang affiliation and transported to the Detroit Detention Center for Possession with intent to deliver and felony firearm.

Also seized in the operation was a large amount of ammunition, a vehicle, digital scales, paintball gun and a mask.
