Dozens of tires slashed during Wayne power outage

WAYNE, Mich. (WJBK) - Police in Wayne are investigating after dozens of tires were slashed overnight Saturday.

Police say they have taken at least 20 separate reports from people who say someone vandalized their vehicles sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. That number could go up.

We're told the incidents were reported all over the city of Wayne and do not appear to be concentrated in any specific area.

Wayne was one of the areas that experienced the greatest number of power outages following Saturday's record snowfall.
