Event highlighting Iggy Pop and Don Was coming to Detroit next month

An event highlighting the work of iconic artist Iggy Pop and legendary producer Don Was is coming to Detroit next month.

The GRAMMY Foundation hosts a program called Living Histories Live that features the life stories of influential recording industry professionals who contributed to the history of recorded sound. As part of that series, they will hold an event featuring Iggy Pop and Don Was in Detroit on Oct. 23.

Organizers say it will be an "intimate evening reflecting on the shared creative collaborations between Iggy and Don," moderated by the GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares Sr. Vice President Scott Goldman.

The foundation has interviewed more than 200 producers, artists, executives and technology pioneers.

The event will take place Oct. 23 at The Majestic Theater, 4120 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.

Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online HERE.

Living Histories Live is sponsored through a charitable partnership with Iron Mountain Incorporated.
