DETROIT (WJBK) - The family of a popular Detroit rapper is hoping you can bring his killer to justice.
Rodney Yeargin, also known as Doughboy Roc was killed nearly two months ago. He was shot in broad daylight on Stoepel Street near Westfield on the city's west side.
Police believe money may have been a motive either cash that Yeargin owed to others or people who owed him money.
His family says it's time for the killer to come forward.
"Wake up Detroit," said Carolyn Martin, his great-grandmother. "You were all here, and you were supporting us. Don't turn us down now."
"We wake up to a nightmare every day and go to sleep to a nightmare," said a relative. "And it is not going to get easier until we get that closure that we need."
