20-year-old woman accused of running over, killing man on 7 Mile

A woman has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run Tuesday night that left one man dead on the city's west side.

The incident happened around 9:15 p.m. at 7 Mile and Trinity, according to Detroit police.

The victim is a 26-year-old man, who was run down by a woman he knows.

Police say the two were having an argument and she ran him over with a black Ford Fusion and left the scene.

Authorities were able to track her down around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

The woman is 20 years old.

Not a lot is known about the victim at this point and police have not released his name.

The relationship and the nature of the argument between the suspect and victim is not yet known at this time.
