Father, son killed in 6-vehicle crash Friday
Michigan State police say they're investigating a crash that left 2 people, a father and son dead.
Police say they responded to a six car crash late Friday night on northbound I-75 near Dix Toledo road.
According to police, preliminary investigation shows that a commercial vehicle struck a passenger vehicle carrying the father and son. The father, 61 years old and his son, 20 years old were pronounced deceased. Both were residents of New Jersey and family of the victims have been notified.
Four other vehicles were damaged as a result of the collision.
Both the north and south bound lanes of I-75 were shut down until 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
The investigation into the cause of the cause of the crash is ongoing.
