Four people shot on the same street on Detroit's east side

Four people shot on the same street on the city's east side and three of them were attending a birthday party at the time.

A birthday party ended in violence on Cooper Steet Sunday night at 11:30 on Detroit's east side. Police say two men 
walked into a house and started shooting.

"If they were there, they saw something," said 'Coffee.'  "But when shots ring out, everybody runs. Alot of times they don't see anything."

The victims wee Coffee's nieces ages 27 and 32 and a nephew who recently turned 40. Her nephew lives at the house, she had stopped by the party about 40 minutes before the shooting.

Police say another man walking down Cooper street was shot around the same time. All of the victims received non life threatening injuries.

"Then they called me and said they shot the house up," Coffee said.
