Hartland HS choir to perform with Foreigner at tonight's concert

(WJBK) - A local high school choir hit it big time and will perform on stage with one of classic rock's biggest bands.

The Hartland High School Choir will be singing along with Foreigner Friday at their show.

The choir sent in their audition of them singing 'I Want To Know What Love Is,' and now the band has invited them on stage.

The students will sing backup on the song during Foreigner's show Friday at DTE Energy Music Theater.

The band is also donating $500 to the choir program.
