A judge read the riot act to a Plymouth woman accused of having sex with an underage boy.

Bridget Caplin, 41, is charged with criminal sexual conduct -- sending obscene matter to children and using a computer to commit a crime.

Prosecutors say the former middle school aide for Plymouth-Canton schools performed sex acts with a 15-year-old boy and sent him sexually explicit photos. Caplin, who is also a mom, is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a person age 13-15 and distributing obscene material to children and using a computer to commit a crime.

At one point during today's hearing, it appeared that Caplin wasn't paying attention so the judge let her have it.

"I'm over here, you need to be paying attention to me and not looking out the window," said the judge. "I need to make sure you understand what I'm saying. Are you paying attention to me?"

Caplin: "Yes."

"If you don't get this I'll just jack up (your bond) to $250,000. What should I do?"

Caplin: "I'm listening."

Caplin's bond was reduced from $250,000 to $100,000. She's been ordered to avoid all contact with the boy and his family.
