Kroger Michigan has announced that none of its stores contain any of the more than 35,000 lbs. of raw ground beef recalled for potentially containing hard plastic.

The company confirmed the division that received a shipment of the potentially contaminated products is Kroger's Mid-Atlantic division, which includes North Carolina, and eastern West Virginia and Virginia.

However, stores in Illinois and Indiana, as well as Jay C and Food 4 Less stores in the Midwest, were shipped two UPCs of 80/20 ground beef (1 lb and 3 lb packages) that are included in the JBS recall.
