Livonia police arrested a suspect wanted in an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven.

At about 2:05 a.m. Monday morning, a man walked behind the store clerk and stuck a hard object against his side, believed to be a gun.

The suspect forced the clerk to open the register, where he then took the money inside. The suspect held onto the clerk while removing the money with his other hand. He then fled  the store, located in the 15000 block of Middlebelt, in a silver Pontiac G6.

Through finger print  evidence collected and the store security video, the police arrested suspect Ronnie Wayne Mullins, a 45-year-old Lapeer resident.

He is also suspected in a robbery of a Southfield 7-Eleven that same day.

Mullins, who has a criminal record, has been charged with armed robbery habitual offender, second offense notice.

Bond was set at $1 million cash. His preliminary exam is scheduled in 16th District Court for Oct. 29.
