Long gun with laser scope pointed at man during Detroit gas station robbery

- Detroit Police say one person is custody and two other men are still on the run after a terrifying armed robbery that involved one of the suspects holding a long rifle the victim.

The robbery happened December 11 just before 2:30 a.m. at a gas station near 7 Mile and Hayes on the city's east side. The victim was walking out of the gas station when two men approached him at robbed him at gunpoint.

Surveillance video released by police shows one of the suspects pointing a rifle with a laser light at the victim. The victim put his hands up and another man went through his pockets and took his wallet and any other personal belongings.

Police said they then left the area and got into an older model Chevy Tahoe where a third suspect was waiting to drive off.

Police reviewed the footage and were able to identify the suspect who searched the victim and took what was in his pockets. He was later arrested in Macomb County by the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team.
