Man accused of spray painting police threat is set free

A man arrested two nights ago for threatening to kill police officers including Chief James Craig is now a free man.

The warrant was submitted to the prosecutor's office Sunday morning.

The prosecutor's office adjourned it, asking for more evidence and setting the man free.

The suspect, Stewart Lewis, was accused of spray painting a threat on a building, reading, "Kill all police, kill James Craig."

He actually spoke with FOX 2 on Friday night and he made his disdain for police and Craig well known, though he told FOX 2 he had nothing to do with the grafitti.

Then he was arrested later Friday night.

Craig says the man should be charged with making a terrorist threat.
