Man arrested for bringing heroin to girlfriend's release from Livingston County Jail

A 26-year-old man was arrested after authorities say he brought heroin to pick up his girlfriend, who was being released from the Livingston County Jail.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office tells us a deputy found Jeffery Picklesimer passed out in the fully-reclined driver's seat of a 2003 Buick in the parking lot of the sheriff's office. We're told Picklesimer told the deputy he was sleeping while waiting for his girlfriend.

The deputy searched his car and found several empty bindles of heroin in the car, and five full bindles in his wallet.

Picklesimer was arrested and has been charged with delivery/manufacture of narcotics less than 50 grams. His bond was set at $100,000.

He's due in court later this month.
