Suspect sought in Melvindale arcade shooting

A man is dead after being shot at an entertainment complex in Melvindale Saturday night, police say. Police say the shooting happened around 7 p.m. Saturday at Play Atlantis on Allen Road. 

According to police, there were three separate birthday parties in the banquet rooms when the dispute occurred. The parties were birthday parties being held for a 1-, 3- and 4-year-old child. Police say at this time it is unclear which party the victim, 45-year-old Sean Key, and the suspect where attending.

Police say the suspect, 23-year-old Lamar Alexander Carter, shot at Key, and that one of the rounds hit Key in the head. Key was pronounced dead on-scene.

Carter is considered armed and dangerous. Carter is a black male in his early to mid 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 170-190 pounds.
