Man killed, woman wounded in drive-by near Boston-Edison District

DETROIT (WJBK) - A man was killed in a drive-by shooting near the border of the Boston-Edison District at about 7:10 p.m. Thursday night.

A woman with the victim inside a van was also wounded at the time of the shooting, which happened at Rosa Parks and Glynn Court. Two young children were inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting but were not believed shot.

Police say the suspects were driving a black and silver Chevrolet Impala.

The male victim was 27 years old and woman 19. Both children are said to be under the age of 7.
