Authorities are looking for a man who they believe set fire to multiple cars at a Pontiac apartment complex.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office released a photo of the man suspected of the arson. The photo shows the suspect walking near the Spring Lake Village apartment complex last week. Police say the arson happened on September 10 around 5:30 a.m.

Surveillance video shows the suspect carrying a can of gasoline, walking up to a Dodge Journey and pouring gas on the car. The man can then be seen climbing on top of the car and setting it on fire, police say.

The fire was so intense, it spread to a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox and a 2002 Saturn L-100. All three cars were damaged.

Police have not yet said why they believe the man set fire to the vehicle.

Police say the suspect was wearing dark clothing, including a hoodie which covered his head.
