Masked gunmen rob Chesterfield Twp Holiday Inn

- Two male suspects wearing masked robbed a Holiday Inn Express in Chesterfield Township early Monday morning.

Police say around 5:20 a.m. two unidentified suspects entered the hotel at 45805 Market Place Blvd and immediately jumped over the front desk.

One suspect ordered the night clerk at gunpoint to sit on the floor, as the other took cash out of the front desk register. It is not yet known how much was taken. Both fled on foot southbound from the main entrance.

Police describe one suspect as a black man in his early to mid-20s with a medium build. He was wearing a black ski mask, black hoodie and black pants, and was armed with a handgun.

The other suspect is described as a light-skinned black man with freckles in his early 20s. He was clothed in a red and gray hoodie with a design on the front, and wearing a red hat or hood, with a mask covering the lower half of his face.
