Michigan United talks issues with Detroit voters before upcoming elections

DETROIT (WJBK) - Several members of Michigan United canvassed in Detroit neighborhoods to educate voters on what they'll be facing in the upcoming November elections.

"One of the things we do as Michigan United is really try and bring people together from across different parts of our community to talk about the issues that matter to us in our homes in our communities -- at our kitchen tables," said Brandon Snyder of Michigan United. "With this election being so important with the number of issues that'll matter for years down the line, we want to bring people together to educate them."

Snyder said Michigan United is about just that -- uniting people of all types behind a common cause.
