Celeste Goodson

She's been missing for a month. Have you seen Celeste Goodson?

The 47-year-old woman was last seen by a friend on Detroit's east side.

"We've looked in every location where she would be and no one has seen her," said John Goodson, her brother.

A Detroit family seeking answers about their missing loved one Celeste Goodson.  The family says she came home to Detroit in July from Port Huron for a visit. But that visit has now turned into a search for a loved one who this family hopes is somewhere alive and safe.

Goodson's family says she was last seen in this area on Detroit's east side around July 25th.  They say she got into a semi-truck with a friend and hasn't been seen since.

"She was with a friend name Ken that drives an 18-wheeler truck," John Goodson said. "He was the last known person to be seen with her.

"Ken say he brought her right back within 5 minutes but people say they never came back."

Detroit Police say this is an open active investigation and they are still searching for Goodson.

But as the search continues, Goodson's family says they can't help but think that she's in danger.

"I hate to say it but I think tragic," John Goodson said. "Because it's very unlike her to do this. She'll call and check in and let us know she okay daily."

As the family waits for a sign that Goodson is alive they hope she can her these words:

"We love you, we miss you, we're stressing," he said. "We want you back."
