(WJBK) - A missing 30-year-old Hamtramck man has been discovered dead.
Jason Kudla's father Larry, posted on Facebook Thursday that Detroit police identified a body at the morgue as his.
"We have been told not to provide details about Jason’s death because of an active ongoing homicide investigation," Larry Kudla wrote on Facebook. "I am deeply saddened at the loss of my last surviving son. Please do not ask me for details I cannot provide. Arrangements will be made and posted here when we can.
"I appreciate your understanding."
Jason Kudla had been at a small party at a home on Evaline and Conant which went into the early hours of Sunday morning. Witnesses say then Kudla suddenly became upset, breaking a few things and saying he had to leave.
Larry Kudla had told FOX 2 that his 30-year-old son had not been seen or heard from in three days. Jason Kudla's twin brother died by suicide in 2012.
"He's my last remaining son," Larry told FOX 2's Erika Erickson Wednesday. "Jason had a twin brother that took his life in 2012. It's common for people to say hope for the best, which we are, but prepare for the worst, but how can I prepare for the loss of my son?"
